I drink too much Dr Pepper, have been supporting an action-figure habit for well over a decade, and love giant transforming alien robots a little more than I should.
I used to be an artist, or I wanted to be an artist, or maybe it was that I was going to be an artist; however, when it came time to decide on my Higher Education, making art was decreed Not A Real Job and so I had to get my degree in Close Enough, which turned out to be graphic design; I've since learned that graphic design has little to do with art or design or my own creativity and a great deal to do with executing other people's craptastic concepts because I have the misfortune to a) know the software and b)know how to operate a computer beyond pushing the button to turn it on.
I take out my artistic frustrations, just lately, by going on periodic icon-making tears; the fruits of those labors can be found at my icon journal, ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) few_brushes.
Most recently, I've begun tormenting innocent beads by turning them into jewelry tributes to Transformers characters. They are for viewing and sale on SpaceHappy at Etsy. There are non-Transformery things there, as well, but the Geek will not be denied. ;)
